Privacy Policy

Last updated: August 17, 2026

The short version: FenceFlow stores your fencing business's own data so you can run jobs. We do not sell your data, we do not use it for advertising, and we do not share it with anyone except the services listed below that are required to make the app work.

Who this covers

FenceFlow is used by fencing contractors. Two kinds of people appear in it: the contractor and their crew, who hold accounts, and the contractor's customers, whose details the contractor enters to quote and complete work.

What we collect

We do not collect location tracking, contacts, browsing activity, or advertising identifiers.

Payment information

FenceFlow never receives, stores, or processes card numbers. When you take a card payment, the customer enters their card details directly with our payment provider, Stripe — and the money goes from them to that provider to your bank. We store only the amounts you record, the date, the method, and a link to the payment page. Card numbers, expiry dates, and security codes never reach our servers or your device.

Stripe handles that card data under its own privacy policy, as the business responsible for it: Stripe.

How we use it

We do not use your data to train advertising models, and we do not sell it.

Who we share it with

We share data with these providers only as needed to operate the service. We do not sell or rent your information to anyone, and we do not share it with advertisers or data brokers.

Address lookup

When you type a job address, the app offers suggestions to complete it. To do that it sends the address text you are typing — and nothing else — to one or more of:

No customer name, phone number, email, job details, or account information is sent with the lookup, and the request carries nothing identifying your account. These services may log the query and the requesting IP address under their own policies. The lookup runs while you type in the address field; it does not run anywhere else in the app.

Where your data lives, and for how long

Data is stored on Supabase's servers, in the United States, and on the devices signed in to your company. It stays until you remove it or close your account.

Deleting things, and the trash bin

Deleting a job, customer, or crew record does not erase it straight away. It is marked as deleted, disappears from the app on every device, and moves to a trash bin that the account owner can open. This is deliberate: it means a mistake on one phone, or a tap by the wrong person, can be undone rather than costing a business its records.

Items stay in the trash bin until the owner empties it. Emptying the trash is permanent — the record is erased from our servers and cannot be recovered by you or by us.

So if your intention is that something is genuinely gone — because a customer asked you to erase their details, for instance — deleting it is the first step and emptying the trash is the second.

Deleting your account and data

You can request deletion of your account and all associated business data at any time by emailing support@fenceflowapp.com from the address on your account. We will confirm and complete the deletion within 30 days, including anything sitting in the trash bin.

You can also export your data first — see below — so closing the account does not mean losing your records.

Getting your data out

Your records are yours. You can export your jobs, customers, payments, expenses, and crew hours from the app at any time, in a spreadsheet format that opens in Excel, Google Sheets, or Numbers. You do not need to ask us, and you do not need an active subscription to take your data with you.

Your customers' information

If you are a contractor using FenceFlow, the customer details you enter are yours and you remain responsible for them. You should only enter information you are entitled to hold, and you should tell your customers how you use it. On request, we will help you export or delete any customer record.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit. Access is restricted at the database level so each business can only reach its own records, and crew accounts see less than owners and managers. No system is perfectly secure, and we will notify affected users promptly if we become aware of a breach involving personal data.

Children

FenceFlow is a business tool and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect their data.

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date above and notify account holders by email before the change takes effect.
